I am forever walking upon these shores,

Betwixt the sand and the foam.

The high tide will erase my foot-prints,

And the wind will blow away the foam.

But the sea and the shore will remain

Forever.

The sea — in any of its many forms of Ijeauty — will linger forever in our memo-
ries. For those who have roamed our beaches, we hope these pages will recall
their past experiences and bring back to them these days gone by. People, like

the tides, come and go, but both leave impressions which can never be erased
by the passing of years.

The sands of time have sifted through the hour glass leaving us with never-to-
be forgotten reflections in the sea.

The staff of the 1955 Sea Gull has tried to preserve the sand castles of life
created by everyone who is a part of our school by the sea.

Waves roll in, llien separate, as out steps our star of the 1955
Sea Gull. With a sparkling smile like the sun glistening on
a wave, with enthusiasm like a gull gliding swiftly over the

sea, the star of our seaside fantasy brightens the seas of our

lives at Gulf Park.
As high school sponsor, she has shown loyalty to the red and
white; as Sea Gull staff advisor, she has given endless time

and energy; and through her classes, she has proven herself
an inspiration needed often by her students. The staff of the

1955 Sea Gull is honored to present its guiding light — Miss
Ruth Schreiber.

DEL T A CHI SIGMA

Delta Chi Sigma — As one of their rat week activities, the Deha Chis, old and new.
plunged in to do their share of work for the Tri-Sorority Dance, soon becoming experts
on buried treasure and where to find it. After all. they drew the maps. At map-making,
as at other jobs, they showed their energy and enthusiasm. Their work helped to make
the dance a tremendous success.

SIGMA P S I IOTA

Sigma Psi Iota — Looking to the future, the Sigma Psis searched outer space at their
rush party and found that life does indeed exist on other planets — in a number of forms.
By the end of their interplanetary quest for the perfect woman — a Sigma Psi. of course
— they had proved their originally really was "out of this world."

DELTA ALPHA SLGMA

Delta Alpha Sigma — "Darn!" said the Delta Alphas during rush week, hut they
meant. "Delta Alpha right now." This snappy slogan gave them a good start for a fine
year. Their chapel program in February provided everyone with food for serious thought
about the real, old-fashioned virtues we should be cultivating here.
